Fires

Hi all

After a prolonged period of hot, dry weather and several wildfires across South Wales, we're urging everyone to help reduce the risk of further fires.

Please do not light any fires in the open, including:

Controlled burns

Bbqs, whether disposable or in the garden

Garden or waste fires

Campfires or any other outdoor flames  

Dry grass, vegetation and woodland can ignite in seconds, allowing fires to spread rapidly and put communities, wildlife and emergency services at risk.

By avoiding outdoor fires and taking extra care, you can help prevent further incidents and keep our community safe
